If you don't plan to press apples, you may not need a grinder. Without the grinder, this press is perfect for squeezing grapes and making wine. The large steel banded pressing tub will hold up to one bushel of grapes (use a fine-mesh pressing bag). The heavy duty 1" dia. pressing screw with Acme thread exerts a pressure with minimum amount of effort. Press frame and tub are solid maple for strength. Be sure to varnish or apply poxycoat before using. Sturdy maple wide-stance legs add stability. Sliding collecting tray has a bottom juice drain. One year warranty.
