The perfect funnel for canning. Made of FDA approved silicone which forms a tight fit on bottles and jars. Prevents funnel from tipping when filling canning jars. The extra wide funnel opening (5-1/2" dia.) allows you to pour liquids, food and spices into canning jars with ease and less mess. The removable strainer is an extra bonus. It fits tightly into the bottom of the funnel. Use the funnel with the strainer to catch spices and herbs when pouring cooked syrups into pickles or soups. Remove strainer for adding stewed produce such as tomatoes or apples into jars. Funnel has flared rim to contain liquids and is high heat resistant to 465 degrees F. The funnel is 2-3/4" tall, with 5-1/2" diameter opening, 2-1/4" diameter throat.
