Save time, energy and water when home canning! This steam canner uses only 3 pints of water and cuts pre-heating time by 50% opposed to conventional water bath canners. Eliminates heavy lifting, boil-overs and messy clean-ups. Simple and easy to use for both the novice and experienced canner. Cover doubles as a 15 qt. kettle or stockpot. Heavy gauge aluminum, 7 quart capacity. Dimensions: 11-3/4" dia.; bottom is 1-3/4" deep; lid is 6-1/4" high. (Not recommended for ceramic top stoves.)

I love this Canner. It used so much less water! It heats quickly and is much easier to empty. The other benefit is that you aren't reaching up and into a tall pot full of boiling water. The lid comes off near the bottom, so it is easier to put the jars in and take them out. The only reason it got a 4 rating instead of a 5, is that I would love it to be stainless steel. I believe it is aluminum.
