Give your pickles the "crunch" that you like! Conveniently add pickle crunch to each jar of your pickles or pickled veggies for crispier results! Pickle crunch helps reduce the softening of fresh cucumbers during processing, keeps cherries and olives firm, and helps with bitter-pit problems in apples. Food grade calcium chloride, 8 oz. container.
Directions: Add Pickle Crunch granules to cool water and mix until dissolved. (Do NOT add water to granules.) Soak cucumbers in solution for 12-24 hrs. before pickling to firm pickles. Alternately for fresh pack pickles, add 1-1/2 tsp. per quart jar prior to processing.
Usage: 1 level teaspoon of granules per quart of water to make a 0.5% solution.
