The push button cherry pitter is uniquely designed to fit on top of a screw-top glass jar, leaving your hands free to handle the cherries and the plunger. A soft rubber strip located on the base of the plunger centers and protects the cherry while removing the pit, keeping the cherry round and firm. And by using a larger canning jar for collection - you won't have to keep stopping to empty the pits.
